All the server rules must be followed in conjunction with the gang rules.
Gang leaders and any founding members must join the admin gang (Pink Flag) and prove they are following the rules and adhering to gang roleplay standards.
Gang Members must be in the city for 14 days before applying to join a gang.
Gangs will have a minimum of 3 on the roster.
Every gang and gang member must be unique. Everyone must submit a gang ticket in Discord to be admitted into a gang.
You must have working clipping software if you are in a gang
Gang colors in the city include:
You must wear an identifiable gang flag or MC vest at all times while conducting any and all gang activities.
You are only permitted to be in one gang at a time. You cannot have a second character in another gang.
Gang headquarters cannot be pushed by non-whitelisted gangs.
You may not dress in opposing gang colors to pretend to be a part of the opposing gang.
Before going to war with another gang or an individual, there must be an RP reason to do so.
Repetitive violence against another gang is prohibited, unless a gang war has been initiated.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Individual conflicts may still occur, but they must end swiftly.
When confronting a player about the clothes or colors they are wearing, you must ensure the player is wearing 75% of your gang’s colors; if not, they cannot be pressed.
If they are wearing just a chain or a mask, leave them be.
There must be quality roleplay, typically 30 seconds of interaction, before robbing someone. (Time varies based on roleplay.)
There must be quality roleplay, typically 60 seconds of interaction, before killing someone. (Time varies based on roleplay.)
The only exception is if kill-on-sight (KOS) is agreed upon. (See KOS section.)
Highway bombing should be avoided when possible. Plan a getaway.
Failure to follow this rule will result in a gang strike, if applicable, and a possible ban, depending on the severity.
No outing entire gangs or providing sensitive information to law enforcement simply for OOC reasons.
If providing substantial amounts of evidence to law enforcement, staff will review it before it can be used. It must pertain to the storyline and have actual RP behind it.
If you learn OOC that a member of your gang is working with law enforcement on a case, you cannot use this information in roleplay. Please see the metagaming section above.
When you are wanting to create a brand new gang for NGRP, your gang will be placed on a trial period for 2 weeks.
During the trial period…
Submit a gang application in Discord. (︱💼・gang-apps)
Applications with zero effort will be denied.
If you are creating a gang, put who your starting 2 members will be. They must also submit a Discord application to join.
Once the application has been submitted, it will be reviewed, and you will be told if accepted.
If you are accepted, you may then wear the color flag of that gang. Please see your gang leader on where these items are in the clothing store.
If you are denied, you will be given the reason(s) why.
If you leave one gang, you must wait a minimum of 2 weeks before requesting to join/create another gang. No exceptions.
If a gang is found to be inactive for 30 days, the gang will be removed.
Gang leaders must keep their rosters up-to-date so the staff team can review it at any time.
If you have a Discord for your gang, at least 1 member of staff needs to be present in the Discord to ensure all rules are being followed.
Staff may request that certain gang members be removed from the roster before a tier advance is granted.
It is the responsibility of the gang leader/leadership to ensure the server/gang rules are being followed and understood by every member.
Gang leadership and members are liable for known modders in their gang. If a gang is caught with a member who is knowingly hacking/modding, this will result in either disbandment of the gang or two gang strikes.
Gang leaders are expected to request clips from suspected modders to help ensure it is not happening. Staff can also request these clips at any time.
Trial Period (2 Weeks)
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Staff will handle promotions between tiers based on the overall RP presented by the gangs.
This can be done via clips of good RP scenes.
Interactions with other gangs, Police, EMS, Civilians. Does not need to be violent.
Tagging/selling drug clips can also be submitted, but will not solely be used to level a gang up.
Violations of gang rules/gang war agreements may constitute a strike against your gang.
Repeated violations of the server rules by gang members over multiple scenes will constitute a strike.
Violations of the server rules by multiple gang members in a single scene will constitute a strike.
3 gang strikes are the maximum.
When the third strike is recorded, the gang will be disbanded and removed. Any items stored in gang facilities will also be forfeited.
Gang strikes can be requested to be removed after 14 days.
Staff will have the final say.
Staff disrespect will result in a gang strike, as well as a 12-hour ban for the individual involved.
A maximum of 6 members per gang/group can participate in each fight/scenario.
Adding players to a scene who are not on the gang’s roster to “bulk up” numbers at a scene will result in a strike.
If the defending group is protecting its home block against an attacking group, they do not need to adjust conflict numbers during a surprise attack.
Example: If red gang rolls up on purple gang at their headquarters, purple gang can use all the members who were already present to defend an attack.
Once the conflict leaves that area, this rule must be followed.
Expect aggression when on another gang’s block/turf, or other criminal areas.
Gangs should escalate scenarios appropriately within roleplay.
Gangs should tell individuals on their block/turf to leave the area as an initial contact, and flex that it is their block/turf.
Continued situations where people do not respect that it is your block/turf can lead to escalation.
You should fear for your life when a gang presses you on their block.
Anything territory related requires you to still follow the gang rules. This means, but is not limited to:
Paybacks within gangs can only happen once.
The aggressor must wait until the other gang retaliates to initiate another attack.
If there is no retaliation from the other gang within 24 hours, the aggressor can re-initiate.
Gangs need to RP out the end of conflicts.
Do not open a report/ticket to try to stop a conflict in the city.
Payback on PD is only once within 48 hours, unless a new backstory has occurred.
Payback on PD is not with the entire police force; it is only with the officer(s) you have that backstory with.
"Kill on Sight" (KOS) means that a player or group has the authorization to kill another player's character on sight, without any interaction or roleplay beforehand.
Kill-On-Sight (KOS) must be agreed upon between the two gangs. A majority of members from both gangs must agree to this.
A KOS event can last no more than 2 hours, or until one gang surrenders or a member of staff calls it off.
Both gang leaders must have verbal and written confirmation in gang chats that the event has been agreed to by both gangs and staff.
Once agreed upon, ask a member of staff to notify Police/EMS that a KOS event is taking place between the two gangs.
After one KOS event has occurred between two gangs, there is a cooldown of 3 days before another one can occur between the same two gangs.
A Gang War is defined as a prolonged and intense conflict between two rival gangs, typically involving violence, territory disputes, and power struggles.
During a gang war, participating gangs must be wearing their flag at all times.
Vehicle colors during a gang war must mirror the base color of the gang.
Do not drive around in black vehicles to hide during a gang war.
If vehicles with the color of the rival gang enter the other gang's area, it can be pressed and escalated to violence.
Do not act in a deadly manner unless you have confirmed it is from the rival gang.
Failure to follow this rule will result in a strike.
Gang wars last a minimum of 7 days.
If the war lasts 7 days, the winner is chosen based on proximity to victory.
The same gangs can’t start a new war for 14 days after the conclusion of a previous gang war.
Before a gang war starts, a significant event must have occurred, and the reason needs to make sense within roleplay.
Leaders must meet face-to-face to start and end a gang war.
Declaration and the first attack must be separate.
Travel to and from a parley is considered a protected activity.
A member of staff must be present during the meeting to start and end a gang war.
The meeting location will be determined by the member of staff facilitating the meeting.
The terms will be discussed at the meeting to start a gang war.
These terms will include what the winner of the war receives.
Some examples of rewards are money, items, vehicles, territory agreements, etc.
The terms must be agreed upon by the two gang leaders.
If the leaders cannot come to an agreement, the member of staff facilitating the war can determine what the wager will be.
During the attack/retaliate cycle, the aggressor can only attack again once the defender has retaliated.
If the defending gang fails to retaliate within three days, the war is considered over, and the aggressor will be declared the victor.
During a gang war, you must not:
During the initial meeting to start the war, all potential allies from both sides must be declared and agreed upon.
During a gang war, you cannot recruit other gangs as allies if they were not agreed upon in the initial meeting. (The ally gang does not need to be disclosed during the meeting, just that there will be an ally.)
Kill on Sight is implied to be active for the entirety of a gang war. If a conflict can be handled without KOS, please do so. If abused, staff reserves the right to take this away.
