⚡ TL;DR - The Short Version
- We're here to tell stories, not to "win" at GTA
- Mature themes are welcome - with consent and good judgment
- Edgy humor is fine - being an actual bigot is not
- Drama stays in-character - keep OOC beef off the server
- Thick skin required - if you can't laugh it off, this isn't your server
- Handle problems like adults - use tickets, not tantrums
🎭 Our Vibe
Next Generation Roleplay is a serious RP server - but "serious" doesn't mean "boring" or "uptight." It means we take our stories seriously, not ourselves.
We're the server where your criminal mastermind can have a dark sense of humor, where cops can be hardasses, where characters can be flawed, offensive, or downright terrible people - because that's what makes good storytelling.
What we're NOT is a daycare. We're not here to police every joke, moderate every interaction, or protect you from fictional characters being mean to your fictional character.

Let's be real - we're not for everyone, and that's okay. Here's how to tell:
✅ You'll Love It Here If...
- You prioritize story over winning
- You can take an L and laugh about it
- You separate IC (in-character) from OOC (out-of-character)
- Dark humor makes you chuckle, not clutch pearls
- You solve problems through tickets, not drama
- You understand "consent" in RP without needing a lecture
- You can disagree without being disagreeable
❌ This Probably Isn't For You If...
- You think RP is about "winning"
- You take IC actions as personal attacks
- You need to lecture others about what's "appropriate"
- You think edgy = evil
- You'd rather argue in Discord than submit a ticket
- You expect staff to referee every interaction
- You can't handle your character being disrespected
No shade if you're in the right column - there are plenty of servers that cater to that playstyle. We're just not one of them.
🔞 What We Mean By "Mature Content"
We allow dark, gritty, mature roleplay. That can include violence, crime, morally gray characters, harsh language, and yes - edgy humor. This is GTA, not Club Penguin.
However: "Mature" does not mean sexual. We are not that kind of server.
What's Allowed (With Good Judgment)
- Characters using slurs, insults, or offensive language in character
- Dark or edgy humor between characters
- Violent crime RP, torture scenes, etc. (with consent for extreme content)
- Morally reprehensible characters - racists, psychopaths, corrupt cops, whatever
- Mature themes that serve the story
What's NOT Allowed (Ever)
- ERP (Erotic Roleplay) - None. Zero. Take it elsewhere.
- Sexual content of any kind - fade to black or skip it entirely
- OOC bigotry disguised as "it's just my character bro"
- Sexual content involving minors (instant permaban, reported to authorities)
- Using RP to actually harass a specific player
- Real-world threats, doxxing, or targeting
- Content that exists purely to shock with no story purpose
⭐ The Golden Rule: IC ≠ OOC
This is the single most important thing to understand about our server:
What happens to your character is not happening to you.
Your character got robbed? That sucks for your character. Someone's character called your character a slur? That's their character being a piece of shit, not the player.
The moment you start taking IC actions personally, you're going to have a bad time - and probably cause a bad time for everyone around you.
How To Handle IC Conflict
- In the moment: Stay in character. React as your character would.
- If you're uncomfortable: A quick OOC message or /me to pause is fine.
- After the scene: If there was a rule break, submit a ticket with evidence.
- What NOT to do: OOC argue, rant in Discord, start drama, revenge-break rules.
🤝 On Consent
Consent in RP isn't complicated. For most interactions - robberies, fights, arrests, insults - consent is implied by being on a serious RP server. You signed up for this.
For extreme content - torture, permadeath, graphic scenes - a quick OOC check is expected. Something like:
That's it. That's the whole consent system. Check in for heavy stuff, respect the answer, move on.
If someone says they're not comfortable, don't be weird about it. Fade to black, skip ahead, find another path. No drama, no judgment.
🎫 How We Handle Problems
Things go wrong sometimes. Someone breaks a rule, misunderstands a situation, or just has a bad day. Here's how we deal with it:
The Right Way
- Finish the scene (don't break character mid-scenario)
- Gather your evidence (clips, screenshots)
- Submit a ticket on the forums
- Let staff handle it
- Move on with your life
The Wrong Way
- OOC arguing in-game
- Ranting in Discord or public channels
- Revenge rule-breaking
- Rallying your friends to pile on someone
- Making it everyone else's problem
We have a ticket system for a reason. Use it. Staff will review, investigate, and handle it. If you're in the right, the other person will face consequences. If you're wrong, you'll learn something.
🚫 Hard Lines (Zero Tolerance)
We're pretty relaxed about most things, but some lines are absolute:
- ERP / Sexual Content - This is not that kind of server. Instant ban.
- Sexual content involving minors - Instant permaban, reported to authorities
- Real-world threats or harassment - Instant permaban
- Doxxing or sharing personal information - Instant permaban
- Cheating, hacking, exploiting - Instant permaban
- Ban evasion - Extended ban
- DDoS attacks or threats - Instant permaban, potential legal action
These aren't negotiable. There's no "context" that makes them okay. Don't test it.
