Do you have a clip of what you mean? I've been able to customize cars all day long with the new script without any issues. Not only my own cars, but other citizens as well.

I’ve seen it, it’s just that car specifically, there are a bunch of modifications available but if you try and change anything the item disappears and showed the underbody, of the car. When changing the items of the car it doesn’t appear.
