Born the third child of Tyler and Linda Melody. Pushed to pursue music like her parents, she started playing the cello at the age of 6. At the age of 10 her mother cheated on her father with a successful DJ and producer, Isac Scratch. She met her step-brother Cletus Scratch who was a Fire Marshal. He introduced her to the world of emergency services.
Octavia wanted to pursue a career of emergency services after that. Her brother taught her the basics of medicine and fire safety, and took her to any training classes he was attending or instructing. At 18 Octavia got into a fight about her future with her mother (who still wanted her to pursue a career in music). With the help of her brother she moved to San Andreas to join the SAFR.
